Testimonials for My Editing
“Bernice Lever is an editor who brings deep insight derived from her many years experience into an author’s work, yet manages to convey her editorial comments constructively and with sensitivity.”
Patrick Taylor: Irish Country Doctor Series, NY Times and USA Today best selling author, with international sales.
“I am deeply grateful to Bernice Lever for her fine editing and insight. She helped me prepare my successful MS by encouraging me to retain many lively scenes rather than over-cut, allowing the story to evolve. Bernice also has good instincts in recognizing and correcting fuzzy time-sequences in the text, and encouraged me to re-shape Part One as a ‘flash-back’, that gave it movement.”
Thelma Orchard, author, “My Sad Is All Gone, A Family’s Triumph Over Violent Autism“, Lucky Press, 2004
Alex Z. Modzelewski, author, “Sinners in Paradise”, Humpback Publishing, 2008 Hawaii, said in his novel’s Acknowledgements, ” Sinners in Paradise” would never have happened without my editors: Bernice Lever – an angel of forgiveness who plowed through the early versions of the book, and Joyce Libby who provided finishing touches.”
